Lion Tom joined the Lions in 1996 as a member of the Girard Lions Club. He held the position of tail twister for 2 years, Vice President for 2 years, President for 2 years, Zone 4 Zone Chairman for 4 years, and is now the Zone 4 Zone Promoter for the Melvin Jones Eye Care Foundation for the past 3 years. He has been serving on the board of directors of the Girard Club for the past 10 years.

He has attended the last 10 District 13-D Conventions, attended his first USA/Canada Leadership Forum in Milwaukee, WI. last year.  He will be attending the Leadership Forum again this September in Anchorage.

He married his wife Marian on Aug.14 1996.  Between them they have 3 boys and 1 girl. They have 10 grandchildren.

Tom is a 1975 graduate of Howland High School.  He worked for General Motors for 31 years, retiring on April 1, 2008.
